So much for my yummy meal - the guy in the other bed needs to use the "facilities" - but he's not permitted to get out of bed - so the nurse is over there assisting him ... I'm not so hungry any more.

No such luck. I think if they'd given me morphine I'd have punched-out the idiot room mate. The nurse even had to tell him he couldn't cuss in the hospital. I didn't know that was one of their rules. She might have made it up just to shut him up though. It didn't work.
